Clean Up Australia Day
Every year hundreds of Fraser Coast Residents get stuck in and Clean Up our local environment by collecting and removing rubbish on Clean Up Australia Day.
2010 marks the 20th Anniversary of Clean Up Australia Day and we hope to encourage and inspire thousands of Australians to take to their local park, beach, bushland
and streets and really help make a difference to their location environment.

Wine, Cheese and Movie Night
Wine, cheese, and movie - a fundraiser for Hervey Bay Arts Council. The proceeds will go towards the Jazz, Blues and Folk in the park in June. Arts Council is
committed to bringing more low cost and free events to the Bay. This can only be done by successful fundraising and sponsorship. So let's have fun raising the
money. Last years was a huge success, so dont miss out!! All Arts Council events are cheaper for members so think about becoming a member now.
Entry fee - $10 members, $15 non-members. Includes first glass of wine.
Nibblies are free.

19th - "Rhythm of the Nations" Dinner Dance at the Boat Club in Hervey Bay. Workshops will be held during the following week.
27th - Gala Performance at the Brolga Theatre, Maryborough.
28th - The Festival in the Park will be held at the Scarness Foreshore Park. The Parade of Nations will start the festivities followed by
performances on 4 stages throughout the day.

Annual Bay to Bay Trailable Yacht Race
The 30th Annual Bay to Bay Trailable Yacht Race presented by Hervey Bay Sailing Club and Wide Bay Water Corporation will be sailed by Type 1 Monohulls, Type 2
Sports Monohulls, Type 3 Open Monohulls and Type 4 Multihulls
The race is on the waters of the Great Sandy Strait between Snapper Creek Tin Can Bay and Urangan Hervey Bay on Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of May
2010.
Location: Race starts at Tin Can Bay finishing at Urangan Pier, Hervey Bay.
