The Burrum Heads Community Markets will hold a series of hands-on workshops aiming to collect ideas to inspire the building of large-scale public instruments made
from recycled materials.
Workshop participants will be invited to explore the possibilities of recycled materials, with opportunities to draw and make models, as well as create a take-home
instrument.

Cruise the Great Sandy Strait to hear about the local history. Learn about the impact of weeds, erosion and rubbish on native flora and fauna. Assist in the monitoring
and sustainability of healthy habitats.
Tasks: Weeding around the historical lighthouse or rubbish collection There are NO facilities or water on Woody Island. Please bring plenty of water. The area is not
suitable for swimming.
Please everyone meet at the Gas Shed no later than 2pm to board the boat for the return trip. Remember the trip may be postponed because of unsuitable weather.
