New Year's Eve Beach Party
This coming New Years Eve is keyed up to be the best ever, with the biggest party ever to be held in Hervey Bay. The Beach Party theme means a relaxed dress
code of at least swimmers, but footwear is required. To add to the fun there will also be a huge bar area and Side Show Alley with food stalls and fun rides.

Major event in the Wide Bay Fishing calendar focusing on family involvement and sustainable fishing. Live and dead weigh-in at Toogoom boat ramp and dead weigh-in
as well as festivities and prize presentations at Toogoom Community Association Hall grounds.

Fraser Coast Cultural Festival
19th - "Rhythm of the Nations" Dinner Dance at the Boat Club in Hervey Bay. Workshops will be held during the following week.
27th - Gala Performance at the Brolga Theatre, Maryborough.
28th - The Festival in the Park will be held at the Scarness Foreshore Park. The Parade of Nations will start the festivities followed by
performances on 4 stages throughout the day.

Annual Bay to Bay Trailable Yacht Race
The 30th Annual Bay to Bay Trailable Yacht Race presented by Hervey Bay Sailing Club and Wide Bay Water Corporation will be sailed by Type 1 Monohulls, Type 2
Sports Monohulls, Type 3 Open Monohulls and Type 4 Multihulls
The race is on the waters of the Great Sandy Strait between Snapper Creek Tin Can Bay and Urangan Hervey Bay on Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of May
2010.
Location: Race starts at Tin Can Bay finishing at Urangan Pier, Hervey Bay.
